Hi Everyone!! I have a Fall project that I would like to share with you! I created a 3 x 3 notecard using We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. I used American Crafts - Pumpkin Patch Design Paper for the envelope. I added a sunflower that I created using Magnolia Doohickey Club Volume 6 Sunflower Dies. Isn't the center so cute with the little heart! I added a twine bow behind it along with a leaf that I found at Hobby Lobby.<br />
<br />
For the scalloped card, I used American Crafts - Pumpkin Patch Digital Embellishment Collection. I cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo.<div><br /></div><div>Big Hugs,</div><div><span style="font-size: large;">Suzan<br /></span><div><br /></div><div><br /></div></div>Suzan Lhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11424208534583875825noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7650012914123050066.post-47618650646029432922016-03-25T12:41:00.000-04:002016-04-07T15:06:26.033-04:00Hippity Hoppity Easter Is On It's Way!!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Hi Everyone!! I have been under the weather with pneumonia for the last month, so I tried to make some simple Easter projects while I have been recuperating! I hope you like them!<br />
<br />
I found a sweet little bunny template on Pinterest, so I decided to make some Easter cards using gingham papers that are on the bias. I added a little bit of lace from Daiso along with some seam binding from Wild Orchid Crafts. I also added some leaves that I punched out and a sweet ceramic flower that I found at <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/PrettiesbyAlease">Pretties By Alease</a>. I printed out the "Happy Easter" on my computer. I think they came out really cute!! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMX9r_XadVSbiAPfGKYqJ0UCGdFP98mAoMp_VRC8mdMU2wOxbKeqezTzA7oI184pKyx8g9GW5Ck0u-CBUlC2Wjsvl6Iy-t5O3sJ_XezIUi6pocXfMbZXc3ML2xvutxHHiAcI-l2_hKJCKo/s1600/Butterfly-Rosettes.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMX9r_XadVSbiAPfGKYqJ0UCGdFP98mAoMp_VRC8mdMU2wOxbKeqezTzA7oI184pKyx8g9GW5Ck0u-CBUlC2Wjsvl6Iy-t5O3sJ_XezIUi6pocXfMbZXc3ML2xvutxHHiAcI-l2_hKJCKo/s640/Butterfly-Rosettes.jpg" width="393" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also created some rosettes using Sizzix #658339 Brenda Walton Medallions Die. I used some digital papers from MyGrafico - DBAIsabel Set #1 and #2. I topped the rosettes with a scalloped circle that I punched using EK Success 1" Scallop Punch along with some butterflies that I punched using Martha Stewart Medium Single Butterfly and the 3 in 1 Butterfly Punches. I added a Recollection Pearl to the center of the butterflies. I have been making some different rosettes lately. I think they are really cute to add to a card, treat bag or box. They also make a nice little handmade gift to put in Happy Mail!!</div>

Hi Everyone!! I was watching some haul videos on Youtube and some of the girls had found crepe paper rosettes from Maggie Holmes at Tuesday Morning. The Tuesday Morning near me didn't have any, so I decided to try to make some. I used some crepe paper from Melissa Frances that I purchased several years ago. I cut the crepe paper into 1" x 11 1/2" strips and gathered the long edges with a running stitch to form the circles. I added some gold glitter paper from Recollections to the centers along with some scraps from my stash. I also printed the sayings and cut them into little banners. I love how they came out and can't wait to add them to my projects!</div>

Hi Everyone!! I would like to share with you some heart rosettes that I created using Nellie Snellen Small Heart Die - NFD011. Instead of stitching the inside edge of the die cuts like the instructions suggested to form the hearts, I formed them on a silicone craft mat from Stampin Up and hot glued the centers to hold them together. I just love using the silicone craft mat when creating rosettes. It makes it so much easier!! I added some glittered foam heart stickers from the Dollar Tree to the centers along with some cute heart embellishments from Wild Orchid Crafts. The hearts are approximately 1 1/2" x 1 1/2", which is a nice size to add to a card or a treat bag. I think they came out so cute!!!</div>

Hi Everyone!! I have to admit that Fall is one of my favorite times of the year! I love when the weather starts to get crisp and the leaves on the trees start to change colors. Even though we didn't have very much of a Fall this year, my hubby and I were still able to enjoy some of our Fall Traditions. One of the things we love doing is going to <a href="http://www.avilavalleybarn.com/index.html">Avila Valley Barn</a> in San Luis Obispo to buy apple crisp, apple cider and pumpkins to decorate our front porch! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For my shaker card, I cut the pumpkin shapes out of American Crafts Pumpkin Patch Design Paper using my Silhouette - 3 Thanksgiving Icons, #33067. I used Judikins Embossable Window Acetate to cover the opening of the pumpkin. The cute little fox along with the other images are from Lawn Fawn Into The Woods Stamp Set. I colored them with Copic Markers. </div>

<br />
Hi Everyone! Sorry I have been away for so long! It was such a hot Summer here in California! One of the hottest ones that I can remember!! Without central air, it was unbearable on some days. Needless to say, I didn't get very much crafting done. In the last couple of weeks, it has started to cool down, especially in the evenings. It is so nice!! Fall is finally here!<br />
<br />
I would like to share a Fall card that I created using Lawn Fawn Happy Harvest Stamp and matching Die Set. I colored in all the images that I used with Copic Markers. I created the watercolor paper background using orange and yellow Liquid Acrylic Paints and Gold Pearl Ex Powder that I have had in my stash for years. You can find a wonderful tutorial on how to do this technique on Youtube from <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbtJDPxDEnw">creativeyoungmama</a>. After the piece dried, I cut it out using Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Stackables Die. The orange gingham paper is from Lori Whitlock's Fall Fling Digital Paper Collection. For the final touch, I added a little bit of twine to the edge.<br />
<br />
Thank you for stopping by today!! Happy Fall To You All!!<br />

<br />
Hi Everyone! Can you believe that it is July already! Where has the year gone! There is always a big celebration in my neighborhood for 4th of July. Everyone decorates the outside of their houses with American flags and red, white and blue buntings. There is also an annual neighborhood bike parade that my hubby and I participate in. We decorate our bike wheels with red, white and blue crepe paper. It is always a lot of fun. We live near the Los Alamitos Airbase, so they put on a air show and we get to see all sorts of planes overhead. My favorite part is when the paratroopers jump out of the planes. At night, the sky becomes a frenzy of fireworks right above my house. I look forward to it every year!<br />
<br />
For my card, I used the very cute <a href="http://magnoliastamps.us/pre-order-4th-graduate/grad-1-american-bow-tilda">American Bow Tilda</a>. I colored her using Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I added Hero Arts Ultrafine Prisma Glitter to white stripes of the bow and Wink of Stella to the stars. For the fireworks background paper, I used Echo Park 4th of July Digital Papers. The white crocheted trim is from JoAnn's and the star ribbon is from my stash. For the little red star, I used some red glitter tape from the Dollar Tree that I applied to some red cardstock and then punched out. For the "Happy 4th of July," I used Stampendous SSC216 Holiday Words Clear Stamp Set.<br />
<br />
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! For those of you who live in the USA, I hope you have a fun and safe 4th of July! For those of you who live outside of the USA, have a wonderful weekend!<br />

Big Hugs,<br />

Hi Everyone, Here is my April Tag that I created for the Tag Challenge that my friend Gunilla and I decided to do this year. The theme for this challenge is Spring, so I decided to use the Graphic 45 Secret Garden Design Papers and Embellishments again. They are beautiful and remind me so much of Spring.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For my tag, I added some Secret Garden Design Paper to the front and back of the tag. I cut out a piece from the Design Paper that had a bracket and the words Secret Garden on it and added it to the tag along with some dollies that I cut die using Cheery Lynn Designs French Pastry Tiny Doily #DL 234. I love this little doily die and it cuts out the cutest little doilies to add to any project. I also die cut the Magnolia DooHickey Volume 3 Birdcage and Key out of some Antique Gold Cardstock that I found at the Paper Source and placed them in the pocket along with a ticket and the framed Spring with bird that were from the embellishments. I added some Wild Orchid Crafts Roses and All Natural Accents Daisies to the outside of the pocket. The crocheted lace at the bottom of the tag is from my stash. I added a little bit of white glue to the edges of the crocheted lace to help it from fraying.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<br />
Hi Everyone, Here is my March Tag that I created for the Tag Challenge that my friend Gunilla and I decided to do this year. We decided to use some beautiful Graphic 45 Secret Garden Collection Design Papers and Embellishments that I had found at Tuesday Morning awhile back. <br />
<br />
For my tag, I die cut Poppystamps Vintage Bird Cage #802 out of some Antique Gold Cardstock that I found at the Paper Source. I fussy cut the bird and flowers out of one of the Design Papers and added them to the bird cage. I also added some tiny flowers that I punched out using a Recollections Flower Punch and added Hero Arts Pearls to the centers. I placed them on a tag from the Collection. I added some dollies behind the tag that I die cut using Cheery Lynn Designs French Pastry Tiny Doily #DL 234. Then I added a chipboard butterfly that is also from the Collection. I went around all the edges of everything with Encore Gold Pigment Ink.<br />
<br />
Thank you for stopping by my blog and I hope that you will hop on over to <a href="http://kortnilla.blogspot.com/2015/03/tag-challenge.html">Gunilla's Blog</a> to take a look at the beautiful tag that she has created. <br />
<br />
Until next time, I hope you have a wonderful Spring!<br />
<br />
Big Hugs,<br />

<br />
Hi Everyone!! After my much loved dog, Woody, passed away, I started watching YouTube Videos to help me fall asleep on the nights that I just couldn't get to sleep! Not only have I been inspired by these sweet and talented crafters on YouTube, but they also helped me get through a difficult time in my life! As I watched the videos, I realized that some of the crafters lived near me in Southern California and I have had the pleasure of meeting them!! One of the channels that I love to watch on YouTube is<a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC17xpvr1f4N7RaK1cr39TWA"> craftyirina</a>!! Irene creates such darling projects and is always sharing some of the wonderful techniques and products that she uses on them. Irene has reached 2000+ subscribers and is having a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-dZgUqaTxY">2000+ Subbie Challenge</a> where you have to create three ATC's. I have created these three ATC's for Irene's Challenge to celebrate her wonderful milestone! They are the very first ones I have ever made!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuy-7g7OWieOrLVhE4z8mvHPTKwuwCyG7e-vSlv2Zp9f7l5JHsZyUh0ccxiPkcAVzHOBL-LsrPlRBpCSipJUYmaWFw2PyUIeK5baJd-awPF018vN-R563pEcXHGmQ_qB4epuuUdP0ltBdD/s1600/ATC-%231.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuy-7g7OWieOrLVhE4z8mvHPTKwuwCyG7e-vSlv2Zp9f7l5JHsZyUh0ccxiPkcAVzHOBL-LsrPlRBpCSipJUYmaWFw2PyUIeK5baJd-awPF018vN-R563pEcXHGmQ_qB4epuuUdP0ltBdD/s1600/ATC-%231.jpg" height="400" width="298" /></a></div>
<br />
Irene mentioned in her 2000+ Subbie Challenge video that she likes Marie Antoinette, so I decides to make this ATC using some images that I found on the internet. I cut the center out of the floral frame and placed the picture of Marie Antoinette in it. I stamped the butterflies using #CS795 Kaisercraft Clear Botanical Stamp with Encore Gold Pigment Ink. I added some Recollections Pearls around the opening of the frame and a little piece of lace from my stash at the bottom of the card. I went around the edges of the card with the Encore Gold Pigment Ink.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLjxnz6W3UsDWVUQuiWjjTr-40plc1n7zpYB8VTQIWdRJg1lfSRPQOyaileBC89Mu5aPOhjAkqj9WiAIGP_1xzr87jHzkEAwnaozLAZZLd4zZMm3VmKtbTEe5bAYygcZqHIPFDD3qNM387/s1600/ATC-%232.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLjxnz6W3UsDWVUQuiWjjTr-40plc1n7zpYB8VTQIWdRJg1lfSRPQOyaileBC89Mu5aPOhjAkqj9WiAIGP_1xzr87jHzkEAwnaozLAZZLd4zZMm3VmKtbTEe5bAYygcZqHIPFDD3qNM387/s1600/ATC-%232.jpg" height="400" width="297" /></a></div>
<br />
For my second ATC card, I also found the frame, teacup and bluebird separately on the internet and put them together for this card! I backed the frame on some Paper Source Antique Gold Card Stock. I printed the teacup twice and cut them both out. One with just the roses and the very front of the teacup to layer on top of the other teacup to add a little bit of dimension. I edged the teacup and the little bluebird with the Encore Gold Pigment Ink. I stamped the "Seek Joy" using LE5549M Hampton Art Carpe Diem Clear Stamp Set using Encore Gold Pigment Ink. I added three Hero Arts Heart Pearls and a little bit of lace from my stash at the bottom.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOFsaLnzOALO-jsniAuR7vOckpSxq71Dv1GC4lpMQ_EmSINIGAeK1oh65Jt4OreQVfNttT2R-YbioprLq-qQePQmTiVoEPeIAG2mJMSfC2yfcxDArHohWv2hNSBDGJ8l71SiXZYj34lrpd/s1600/ATC-%233.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOFsaLnzOALO-jsniAuR7vOckpSxq71Dv1GC4lpMQ_EmSINIGAeK1oh65Jt4OreQVfNttT2R-YbioprLq-qQePQmTiVoEPeIAG2mJMSfC2yfcxDArHohWv2hNSBDGJ8l71SiXZYj34lrpd/s1600/ATC-%233.jpg" height="400" width="295" /></a></div>
<br />
For the third ATC Card, I used a frame, butterfly and perfume label that I found on the internet. I die cut the perfume bottle using Magnolia Doohickey Club Volume 3 Perfume Bottle Die. I added some Wild Orchid Crafts Seam Binding that I ironed in half along with the perfume label to the perfume bottle. I also added some Recollections Rhinestones and Pearls to it. The Paris France postmark was stamped using an image that I found at a local stamp convention a few years ago. I added some little pieces of lace that I had in my stash. I also went around the edges of the card with the Encore Gold Pigment Ink.<br />
<br />
Thank you for stopping by my blog! I hope that you like the ATC cards that I created and that you check out<a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC17xpvr1f4N7RaK1cr39TWA"> craftyirina's YouTube Channel</a>. You can find all the detail for her 2000+ Subbie Challenge <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-dZgUqaTxY">here</a>. Congratulations Irene and thank you so much for all the inspiration!! I had so much fun creating these ATC's for you!!<br />

Hi Everyone!! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day!! I've been trying to use my Silhouette Cameo that I received last July for my birthday!! It has been so much fun learning how to use it and creating some projects with it. I have two friends that had a birthday on the day after Valentine's Day, so I decided to use some of the cuts that I bought from the Silhouette Store to create this Owl Heart Pocket Birthday Card for them! I think it came out so cute!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
For the Heart Pocket, I cut Silhouette Heart Pocket #24583 by Alaa'K out of Pebbles Yours Truly ~ Heart Strings Design Paper. I added a ruffle of Melissa Frances Crepe Paper that I found at a local scrapbook store. I gathered two strips of the Crepe Paper using a running stitch and then I glued them to the inside of the heart using some Fabritac. I added some red seam binding and a ribbon flower that I made using some ribbon that I found at the Dollar Store. The resin heart in the center of the ribbon flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For the Owl Card, I cut Silhouette Love Owl Treat Pocket #72430 by Pebbles In My Pocket from the same Pebbles Design Paper. I glittered the wings using DecoArt Glamour Dust Ultra Fine Glitter Paint ~ Ice Crystal. I added a birthday hat that I stamped using Hampton Arts ~ Doddlebug Design Birthday Set #ICO163. The tiny buttons and "XOXO" are from my stash.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also made a larger Heart Pocket to give for Valentine's Day that I cut using Silhouette Heart Pocket #24996 by Lori Whitlock from the same Pebbles Design Papers. I adjusted the design of the cut by deleting the holes that were at the top of the heart. The "XOXO" border is from Pebbles Yours Truly ~ First Kiss Design Papers. For the scalloped border, I used one of my favorite punches, EK Success Dotted Scallop Slim Edger Punch and for the border on the card, I used EK Success Arrow Slim Edger Punch. The red and white twine is from Offray that I found at Target.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I made these Candy Boxes as well using Silhouette 3D Heart Cracker Box #73228 by Lori Whitlock. For the acetate window, I used Judikins Embossable Window Plastic.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

Hi Everyone!! I'm back today with the February Tag that I made for the Tag Challenge that my friend Gunilla and I decided to do this year. The theme for February is Love Is In The Air. This tag was a lot of fun to create! I've been trying to be good and use the things that I already have in my stash and what a great way to use some of the scraps that I have saved from other projects. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For my tag, I used Shery K Digital Design Papers ~ Love Is In The Air Collection from MyGrafico. I sponged around the edge of the tag using Recollections Chalk Ink. I added some lace that I found at Hobby Lobby along with some Recollections Pearls. I cut the Scalloped Oval using Spellbinders #S4-139 Petite Scalloped Ovals Large out of Recollections Glitter Paper and Spellbinders #S4-138 Petite Ovals Large out of the Digital Design Paper Collection. The heart was cut using Sizzix #656764 Heart Set #2. The Heart Resin and the Pink Seam Binding are from Wild Orchid Crafts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I hope I have inspired you to make some tags from some items in your stash. Please visit Gunilla's Blog ~ <a href="http://kortnilla.blogspot.com/2015/02/tag-challenge_17.html">Nillas Kort</a> to see the cute tag that she has created for February! If you would like to play along with me and Gunilla, the theme for March will be Anything Goes. Gunilla and I have talked about using some Graphic 45 ~ Secret Garden Design Papers and Embellishments on the March Tag as well. It will be fun to see how each of our tags come out when we both use the same papers.</div>

<br />
Hi Everyone! My sweet and talented friend Gunilla and I have been talking about doing a challenge for quite awhile. Gunilla lives in Sweden, so we talk on SKYPE. We show each other the projects that we are working on and we talk about different techniques that we have seen. We finally decided to do a Tag Challenge with a different theme for each month this year. The tags will measure 4 3/4" x 2 3/8" and we will add them to a ring. At the end of the year, we will have 12 tags to look back on. Almost like a journal in a way. The theme for January's tag is Winter.<br />
<br />
For my tag, I used Echo Park Country Drive - Big Sky Digital Paper for the background. I printed Shery K Love In Paris 20 - Music Notes Digital Paper on white tissue paper and added a strip to the left side of the tag. I added gesso over it to help tone it down a little bit and I continued around the edge of the tag. I added more shading to the edge of the tag using Studio G Grey Chalk Ink. I also used the gesso to add the little polka dots using a Printworks Stencil that I purchase at a local Stamp Convention. I added a piece of lace from my stash that I trimmed down to the scalloped edge. I used Echo Park Country Drive Digital Elements 1 - Bluebird for the cute little bird. I added DecoArt Ice Crystal Glamour Dust Glitter Paint to the wing and went around the edge of the bird with Studio G Grey Chalk Ink to help it stand out from the background. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and All Natural Accents. I also added some DecoArt Ice Crystal Glamour Dust Glitter Paint to them. The pearl flourish is from Recollections.<br />

<br />
Hello Everyone!! I can't believe how long it has been since my last posting!! I'm so sorry that I have been away for so long!! I hope this finds you all doing well! I've been busy trying to get everything ready for Christmas! I'm so behind this year!! I was able to make a few cards for some sweet friends though!<br />
<br />
I decided to make a Pocket Card using Lifestyle Crafts Treat Bag Die. For the background and the striped border, I used Echo Park All I Want For Christmas Digi Design Papers. I stamped Santa's Helper Tilda on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored her using Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I added Hero Arts Ultrafine Prisma Glitter to Tilda's Santa Hat and Wink of Stella to the sleeves of Tilda's dress. I fussy cut Tilda and mounted her to a Christmas Sweets Frame Die Cut that I downloaded for free from Paper Wishes. The little gingerbread man and lady are also from the same download. I added some little peppermint candies that I made from some Perler Beads. I found a tutorial on Youtube that shows how to make them from <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olO7A-kES0M"><span style="color: #cc0000;">Craftyirina.</span></a> I cut the Candy Cane Heart - #52908 using the Silhouette. The doily was cut using Cheery Lynn Designs French Pastry Tiny Doily Die - DL234. The mini pompom trim and candy striped baker's twine are from my stash. The little red felt heart is from a Christmas Card Making Kit that I found at the 99 cent Store. There were all sorts of little embellishments in the kit. <br />
<br />

<br />
The saying that I used is from Uptown Rubber Stamps - Holly Pond Hill. Unfortunately the company has gone out of business. The glittered heart is also from the embellishment kit.<br />

<br />
Hi Everyone! I would like to share with you a card that I created using the cute Mini Tilda With Heart! I love the Mini Tildas, but I have to admit that I have to wear two pairs of glasses when I color them in. You are probably thinking, "What?" Well, I place a pair of reading glasses that I found at the drugstore on top of my prescription glasses. It helps magnify the image, so I can color in all the small details. I've tried getting a pair of drugstore reading glasses with a higher power than my prescription glasses, but they just make me dizzy. LOL! I use the two glasses whenever I have to do any of the detailed work on my cards! <br />
<br />
For my card, I used Digital Design Papers from Sara Schmutz - Strawberry Patch Collection. The polka dotted frame and "what a Sweetie" with the strawberries tag is from the same collection. I mounted them both on solid papers from the collection and fussy cut around them to help them stand out more. Tilda With Heart was stamped on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored with alcohol markers and Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. For the flourish die cut, I used Bosskut - Leaf Flourish #0728. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, Prima and All Natural Accents. The large rose from my stash started out white, but I dyed it using water based markers and some Tattered Angels Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist that I mixed on a craft mat and rolled the rose in it. And, I made the felt bow using Savvy Dies - Bow Set #10088 .<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg03A_0wgO2Pxc7hYRDEJIV5AsQF8F6rBIJYObH9oNLcveWqXUu6cGGlojrREX_PAsiUjxJAPENWMOOAeYBOIBYfC_vI8tfQfW9ssH3Xq98TYUrYPT9OdNOxVTejaEOsBjeVaqnUlcelMYc/s1600/Bows-1a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg03A_0wgO2Pxc7hYRDEJIV5AsQF8F6rBIJYObH9oNLcveWqXUu6cGGlojrREX_PAsiUjxJAPENWMOOAeYBOIBYfC_vI8tfQfW9ssH3Xq98TYUrYPT9OdNOxVTejaEOsBjeVaqnUlcelMYc/s1600/Bows-1a.jpg" height="320" width="307" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I had fun making some bows from felt that I found at Daiso! They were really easy to make. I used Fabri-Tac to glue them together. </div>

Hi Everyone! Not too long ago, I was so lucky to win a <a href="http://sisterstamps.blogspot.com/">Sister Stamps</a> image and some beautiful embellishments from Linda -<a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/Lfundoo/videos"> Lfundoo</a> on Youtube and Jenny, the owner of Sister Stamps. I wanted to thank them both for their kindness with a card using the very cute Kiyomi image from Sister Stamps.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
For the purple and blue easel card, I used Nitwit Collections - Promises Digital Design Papers. The Kiyomi image was stamped on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored using Alcohol Markers and Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I filled in the hair with fine lines using a Copic Multi Liner 0.3 and then colored on top of the lines. I added Hero Arts Prisma Glitter to the butterfly wings. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, Prima and All Natural Accents. I also added some pearls from a spray I found at Hobby Lobby. The "Arigato" is a stamp that I purchased many years ago and I'm not sure who made it. The scalloped circles were cut using Spellbinders Nestibilities - Petite Scalloped Circles Dies and the matching Circles Dies.<br />

<br />
For the pink and blue easel card, I used Designs by Angie - Isabel Collection Digital Design Papers. <br />

Hi Everyone! I'm back to share a card that I created for <a href="http://thegreetingfarm.com/blog/?p=1506">The Greeting Farm Stamps - Color With Pencils Challenge</a>. I love coloring with Prismacolor Pencils, so I decided to make a 4th of July card. I can't believe that the first day of summer is this Saturday and the 4th is only a couple of weeks away!<br />
<br />
For my card, I used Echo Park - 4th of July Digital Papers and Elements. I stamped the very sweet "Summer" from The Greeting Farm - Roll Call Wild Sprouts Collection 1 on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored her with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I added a small star to her shirt to make it look more patriotic! The die cut behind her and the banner are from the Digital Elements. The flowers are from Prima, All Natural Accents and Michael's. I added Clear Wink of Stella to the flowers.<br />
<br />
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! <br />

I hope you all have a wonderful summer!<br />

<br />
Hi Everyone! I'm back to share a little something that I created using a Notecard from the Prima Sweet Fairy Collection. I love the colors of the notecard that I chose, but it had a design on the corners that I didn't care for, so I decided to add Longing Tilda from the Fairy Tale Collection and some flowers to cover most of it up! You can see a little butterfly that is to the right of Tilda that is a part of the design that I left showing. I matched Tilda's dress and bow to it.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjts3YeodK4W9ZzxaGq1LOWULgrF68RGOebYqmKAMPMGHxRs58EcimSmJGANqNUuCJMxSX84DiP3kKe7G7sATbTIAlAEfZjlsbTV0VpTCW0nfrHhTJU4FyiwX38XQ3R-wbUjTOaaz0fFSyf/s1600/Friendship-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjts3YeodK4W9ZzxaGq1LOWULgrF68RGOebYqmKAMPMGHxRs58EcimSmJGANqNUuCJMxSX84DiP3kKe7G7sATbTIAlAEfZjlsbTV0VpTCW0nfrHhTJU4FyiwX38XQ3R-wbUjTOaaz0fFSyf/s1600/Friendship-3.jpg" height="400" width="312" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<br />
<br />
I stamped the sweet Tilda on Cryogen White Card Stock and I colored her using Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, Prima, All Natural Accents, and my stash! For the pearl accents, I cut a tulle and pearl embellishment from Hobby Lobby apart and added the pieces to the floral arrangement. I die cut the butterflies with the Martha Stewart 3 in 1 Butterfly Punch and colored them with the same Alcohol Marker that I used to color Tilda's dress and added some pearls from Recollections. The saying is a stamp from Inkadinkado. I added a piece of ribbon for a little hanger.<br />
<br />
I want to try to use some of the older Tilda images that I have in my stash that haven't been inked yet! I had to really search to find the name of the Tilda that I used. Oh My Goodness! I can't believe that she is from 2010! One stamp down and I don't know how many more to go! Hehehe!<br />
<br />

Hi Everyone! I hope you all are enjoying spring, at least what we have had of it. It seems like everywhere the weather has been so crazy! Here in Southern California, we have been having some unusually hot weather for this time of year. Last week it got up to 100 degrees! That's too hot for me, especially since my house doesn't have air conditioning. I hope the summer doesn't bring more hot days like that! Even though it was too hot to do much of anything, I was able to do a little crafting!<br />
<br />
<br />

For my card, I used the Penelope Paper Pack from Hot Off The Press along with the matching die cuts that I was able to download for free at Paper Wishes. I stamped the very cute Tilda Makes A Blueberry Blanket on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored her using Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I paper pieced Tilda's dress, socks and blanket from the die cuts. The patterns on the die cuts are much smaller than the design papers, so they were just perfect. I also stamped the Tilda image on the die cut frame that I used. I fussy cut out the image that I stamped on the Cryogen White Card Stock and placed it on top of this image. This way I didn't have to worry about cutting out the tiny needle and thread. The lace that I used is from Michael's. The flowers are from Recollections, Prima and All Natural Accents. I added pearl stamens that I found at Joann's in the cake decorating department to the teal Prima flowers . The "Sew Sweet" is from the Sew Cute Small Stamp Set from Paper Wishes.<br />

<br />
For the jar, I used the Sizzix Candy Jars ScoreBoards XL Die. I cut it out of the Sizzix Little Sizzles White Mat Board. I paper pieced the Penelope Design Papers on the outside and the inside. I added some stitched ribbon from my stash along with some the same flowers that I used for the card. I think this jar is so cute and it was very easy to put together.<br />

Hi Everyone! I was so excited to find out that the card that I made for St. Patrick's Day, Lucky Me - from my last posting, won the 2 Cute Ink Digital Stamps St. Patrick's Day Challenge. I won three digital images from their Esty Shop, so I picked out the Easter Bunny Chick, Bunny Easter Egg and Cupcake Frog images. Thank you <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/2CuteInk">2 Cute Ink Digital Stamps</a> for the very cute images! I used two of the images to make the Easter Tags. <br />
<br />
For the tags, I used digital design papers from Nitwit - Egg-stra Special Collection. Behind the bunny and chick digital images that I colored with alcohol markers, I used some Easter egg stickers that I found at the Dollar Store. I cut off the white border that was around them leaving the very bottom, so the two layers of the sticker, clear embossed acetate and colored image, would stay together. I added a grass border that was cut using the Martha Stewart Grass Border Punch. The mini daisies are from All Natural Accents. The two sayings are from Darcie's. I added a little bit of tulle to the top of each of them and then tied a bow with baker's twine.<br />
<br />
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I hope this inspires you to make some Easter tags for your Easter goodies!<br />

Hi Everyone! I hope this finds you all doing well! Here in California, there are signs that spring is here. The daffodils in my garden have bloomed and a dove has built a nest under my patio cover on two of the beams. This past Saturday, a baby dove arrived! It is so cute!<br />
<br />
Can you believe that it is already March and St. Patrick's Day is next week! I decided to make a card for St. Patrick's Day using The Greeting Farm Digi Image - Good Luck Anya. I printed the cute image on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored it with Alcohol Markers. I paper pieced Anya's hat and outfit using Nitwit Collections - Bit O' Blarney Digital Design Papers. I also used the same design papers for the background of the card. I added one of my handmade flowers that I created using some lace that I found at Joann's. I also added some doilies and a Bazzill Timeless Button for the center. The "lucky me" is a stamp from Studio G. The ribbon and lace are from my stash.<br />

<br />
Hello Everyone! I would like to share with you a Pocket Tag Card that I created! I was inspired by Bona - <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPE1sQKHN2U&feature=c4-overview&list=UUW0DBGwlAgawnMRaxzvin-g">LiveLoveScrap </a>on Youtube. For the Pocket Card, I used some design paper from The Paper Studio - Tiny Pink Hearts that I found at Hobby Lobby. I backed it with some Georgia-Pacific White Card Stock to give it some strength. I added some white crocheted lace to the edge of the pocket that I found at Hobby Lobby. I also added a doily that I die cut and embossed using Cheery Lynn Designs - DL 234 French Pastry Tiny Doily. I had a "Aha Moment" while cutting the doily out. LOL! Instead of using white card stock like I normally do, I cut it out of white printer paper, so it came out looking just like a store bought doily, but better, especially after I embossed it. The heart ribbon is from Michael's. The tulle is from my stash.<br />
<br />
The flower is handmade. I used some lace and tulle that I found at Joann's. I made the crocheted doily and the pearl flower center. I used $1 strands of glass pearls from Darice that I found at Michael's to make the pearl flower center. I threaded 9 - 4mm pearls onto a 32 gauge wire and then twisted the two wires together to form a circle. Then, I took one of the wires and threaded a 8mm pearl for the center. I brought the wire with the 8mm pearl to the back, going down on outer side of the pearl circle on the opposite side of where the wire originated from. The pearl center is held securely into place after I twisted the two wires again in the back. I think they are the perfect size for handmade flowers and very easy to make.<br />

Hello Everyone! Sorry it has been so long since I have posted a card or project on my blog. As some of you already know, my sweet little dog, Woody, passed away on December 22nd, after being very sick for over 2 weeks. The vet just couldn't find out what was wrong with him. The vet even contacted several of the top vet schools to see if any of the experts there knew what was going on with my little guy! My hubby and I rescued Woody 8 years ago and he blessed our lives with his unconditional love every day of that 8 years. We took Woody everywhere with us and people would always say that Woody was the happiest dog they had ever seen. I can't tell you how much my heart is broken and how much Woody is missed! My hubby and I loved Woody so much!<br />
<br />
Speaking of love, Valentine's Day is almost here, so I decided to make a heart box with some design papers from TPC Studio - Little Lovin' Collection. The heart box pattern is from Paper Wishes - Teresa's Fantastic Folded Cards and Boxes CD. The sweet image that I used is from C.C. Designs - Swiss Pixie Love Letter Lucy. I used the digi version, which was printed on Georgia-Pacific White Card Stock that I found at Walmart. I colored her with Alcohol Markers, and Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I used a Clear Wink of Stella Pen to add a little sparkle to her dress. The flowers that I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The little berries and the heart ribbon are from Michael's. The doily that I used is from Wilton.<br />
<br />
Thank you for stopping by my blog! I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day filled with lots of love! <br />

Happy Halloween Everyone! Not only is it Halloween, but I'm celebrating my 2nd blog anniversary! Oh My Goodness! I can't believe that it has been 2 years since I started blogging! This past year I haven't done as many postings as I would of liked to have done, but I'm going to try to do more this coming year!<br />
<br />
Today, I would like to share a Halloween Envelope Card that I made. I used my WRMK Envelope Punch Board to create the 3" x 4" envelope out of a 6" square piece of design paper that I printed on a piece of Georgia-Pacific Card Stock using a Digi Design Paper from Jessica Sprague - Crystal Wikerson Designs Too Cute To Spook Collection. The Scalloped Frame is from Jessica Sprague - Echo Park Tricks and Treats Collection that I also printed out and fussy cut. The flourish that I stamped on it is a Craft Smart Stamp from Michael's. The cute little girl is from My Favorite Things - Pure Innocence Pretty Pumpkin Stamp Set. I stamped it on Cryogen White and colored it with Copics and Prismacolor Pencils. I paper pieced the blouse, skirt and bow with digi design papers from Jessica Sprague - Crystal Wikerson Designs Too Cute To Spoke Collection. The Happy Halloween is also from the Pretty Pumpkin Set. Hello Everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful October! I can't believe that Halloween is only a couple of days away! My hubby and I planted 7 Sugar Pumpkin plants in the backyard and so far we have 7 pumpkins! 3 of them have already been cut off the vine and I am planing on making a pumpkin pie with one of them! I hope it comes out okay! I've always used pumpkin from a can, never from a real pumpkin before! I'll let you know how the pie turns out!</div>

I would like to share with you a cute little Pumpkin Treat Container that I made. The sweet image that I used is a Heather Ellis Pure Innocence Digi. I printed the image on Georgia-Pacfic White Card Stock and colored it in with Copics and Prismacolor Pencils. I paper pieced the dress using Digi Paper from MyGrafico - Shery K Designs Daisies Collection and the pumpkin was paper pieced with Digi Paper from Jessica Sprague - Echo Park Tricks and Treats Collection. I embossed the orange card stock with a dot embossing folder from Cuttlebug. For the decorative border, I used a Die-namics Die. The flower and leaves are from my stash. The berries are from Michaels and the twine is from the Dollar Store.</div>
