Hey Cupcake For Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog Inspiration Challenge

Hello Everyone!! It's that time again for another Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog Inspiration Challenge. The challenge is being hosted by the talented Tracy who has chosen this wonderful photo to inspire us all.

I hope it inspires you to play along with us! All you need to do is to use a Magnolia image on your card or project. Your entry will give you the opportunity to be the lucky winner of a Gift Certificate to Magnolia-licious, the best place to shop for Maggies. . . Regular Size and Minis too!!

For my card, I used Ellen Krans Mambi Sheets Design Papers from Me & My Big Ideas. Tilda with Wrapped Heart, from Magnolia-licious, was colored with Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I cut the wrapped heart off and added a cupcake that I cut from the Design Paper.  The frame that she is mounted on was cut using Martha Stewart Eyelet Lace Corner/Border Set. The scallop borders were cut using EK Success Dotted Scallop Slim Edger Punch. The butterflies were cut using Martha Stewart 3 in 1 Classic Butterfly Punch. The plaid ribbon is from Michaels. The iridescent lace is from JoAnns. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The large pearls, which were a gift from my sweet friend Cami, are from Queen & Co. The small pearls on the butterflies are from a kit that I found to decorate a cell phone that I bought at a local dollar store.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and I hope you take a minute to visit the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog and see all the gorgeous cards and projects that the other Design Team Member have created!! I hope they will inspire you to join in on the fun!!

Have a wonderful week my Maggie friends!

Big Hugs,
Suzan

Hello Little Butterfly For Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog Color Inspiration Challenge

Hello Everyone!! It's that time again for another Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog Color Inspiration Challenge. The color challenge is being hosted by the talented Tracy who has chosen this wonderful photo to inspire us all.

I hope it inspires you to play along with us! All you need to do is to use the colors from the inspiration photo along with a Magnolia image on your card or project. Your entry will give you the opportunity to be the lucky winner of a Gift Certificate to Magnolia-licious, the best place to shop for Maggies. . . Regular Size and Minis too!!

For my card, I used Echo Park Summer Days Digi Design Papers. Hello Little Butterfly Tilda, from Magnolia-licious, was stamped on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored with Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. The scalloped border was cut using Tilda's Lace Doohickey. I decided to use it, because it matched the lace on Tilda's dress. The magenta and purple flowers were white flowers from my stash that I colored using water based markers and Glimmer Mist. The other flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The little butterflies were made using a Martha Stewart 3 in 1 Classic Butterfly Punch. The pearls on the butterflies are from Recollections. The Thinking Of You is from Hero Arts. The ribbon is from my stash.

Thank you for stopping by my blog!!  Please stop by the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog to see the gorgeous cards that the other Design Team Members have created.

I hope you have a wonderful week!!  I look forward to seeing your beautiful creations!

Big Hugs,
Suzan
