I'm Beary Happy We're Friends For Just Magnolia and hAnglar and stAnglar Challenge

Hello  Everyone! I've been wanting to use Teddy Bear Love Tilda ever since in came out!! The cute image brought back fond memories of when I use to collect Muffy Bears. One of the first Christmases my hubby and I celebrated together, my hubby bought the Christmas Edition Muffy Bear for me. He took it out of the box and put it under the tree for me to find.  He threw the box that it came in away not knowing that it should be kept!! Well, my hubby ended up writing the company to get me a replacement box.  He asked if he could please get one, so he could get out of the dog house. The company sent out a new box and wrote a sweet letter saying that they hoped the box would help him get out of the dog house. LOL!!

Today at Just Magnolia and hAnglar and stAnglar Challenge, we are being hosted by the talented Deb. This week's challenge is Pretty Spring Pastels . I hope that you will join in on this fun challenge! Your entry will give you an opportunity to be the winner of one of this week's wonderful prizes from Embellishments DE and Letraset.

For my card, I used Safari Girl Design Papers from Best Creation Inc. Teddy Bear Love Tilda, from Magnolia-licious, was stamped on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored using Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.  I cut two frames using the Cindy Lou Cricut Cartridge <Frame - Heart>, one at 3 1/2" and the other at 3 3/4". I embossed the frames using Swiss Dot Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. The lace is from JoAnns. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, All Natural Accents and from my stash.

I feel "Beary Lucky" that you stopped by to visit me!!  Thank you for all the wonderful comments that you leave for me!  I can't tell you how much I appreciate it!!

Have a wonderful weekend!! I hope to see you again on Tuesday for the new Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog Inspiration Challenge!!

For my card, I used Echo Park Summer Days Digi Design Papers. Hello Little Butterfly Tilda, from Magnolia-licious, was stamped on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored with Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. The scalloped border was cut using Tilda's Lace Doohickey. I decided to use it, because it matched the lace on Tilda's dress. The magenta and purple flowers were white flowers from my stash that I colored using water based markers and Glimmer Mist. The other flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The little butterflies were made using a Martha Stewart 3 in 1 Classic Butterfly Punch. The pearls on the butterflies are from Recollections. The Thinking Of You is from Hero Arts. Lily Princess For Just Magnolia and hAnglar and stAnglar Challenge

Hello Everyone!!  I hope you all are ready for the arrival of the Easter Bunny! I bought my dog, Woody, a little pink bunny toy. It's funny, he loves pink toys!! When you pull the tail of the bunny, it hops forward. Woody and I have been having so much fun playing with it. I pull the tail while Woody patiently watches. Woody lets it hop across the floor for a little bit and then grabs it and throws it up in the air. I think I'm going to have to get a couple more of these little bunnies after Easter. LOL!!

Today at Just Magnolia and hAnglar and stAnglar Challenge, we are being hosted by the talented Mina. This week's challenge is Anything Goes. I hope that you will join in on this fun challenge! Your entry will give you an opportunity to be this week's lucky winner of a wonderful prize from Simon Says Stamps.

For my card, I used Nitwit Promises Digi Design Papers. I just love the blue and purple combination. Princess of the Valley Tilda, from Magnolia-licious, was stamped twice. Once on the Butterfly Design Paper and again on Cryogen White Card Stock. The Tilda stamped on the Cryogen White was colored with Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. It was cut out and glued on top of the image stamped on the Design Paper. I did this, because I knew that I wasn't going to be able to cut out all the small details and I didn't want anything to be left out of this cute image. The two larger flowers were made from scraps of the Design Papers. The other flowers are from my stash and Wild Orchid Crafts. The lace and ribbon is also from my stash. I tied the double looped bow using the Bow Easy. I made the butterfly stickpin using some beads from a bead kit that I bought at JoAnns. I found the bead kit in the dollar section.

Thank you for stopping by to visit me!! I always love hearing from you!  I hope to see you back here on Tuesday for the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog Color Inspirational Challenge!!

I have entered this card in the Wild Orchid Crafts Week 46 - Things with Wings Challenge.

Have a wonderful Spring weekend!! And, a blessed Easter Day!!

Something Eggstra Special For Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog Inspiration Challenge

Hello Everyone!! It's the 4th Tuesday in March, so it's time for a Inspiration Challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog!!  This wonderful challenge is being hosted by the talented Angela who has chosen this wonderful photo to inspire us all.

Doesn't this cake look delicious!! I hope it inspires you to play along with us!  All you need to do is to use some of the elements from the inspiration photo along with a Magnolia image on your card or project. Your entry will give you the opportunity to be the lucky winner of a Gift Certificate to Magnolia-licious, the best place to shop for Maggies.  .  . Regular Size and Minis too.   .   . along with dies from Memory Box and Poppystamps and so much more!! I can't wait to see your beautiful Spring creations!!

I would like to take this time to welcome the fabulously talented Jacque to the  Magnolia-licous Challenge Blog Design Team.  She will be a Guest Design Team Member and  joining in on the challenges from time to time.  Jacque's cards are always so gorgeous and very inspirational!   I'm so excited that she will be part of this wonderful  team!  Please stop by her blog and give her a big welcome!!

For my card, I decide to make another Center Step Card.  The last time I made a Center Step Card, I cut the slits needed to create the card using my cutting mat, clear metal edged ruler and my craft knife.  This time I had a aha moment!! LOL!! I used the Scor Pal with the matching Scor Mat instead of the cutting mat.  I used the measurements at the top of the Scor Pal to line up the ruler along with the grid on the Scor Mat and I used the measurements on the side of the Scor Pal to know where to start and end the cuts. I can't tell you how much easier it was to make the card! I love this style of card and can't wait to make more!

To embellish my card, I used Nitwit Hoppy Hearts Digital Design Paper and  Best Creations Design Papers.  Mini Little Bunny Tilda, from Magnolia-licious, along with all the other images that I used were stamped on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored with Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.  The basket stamp is from Darcies - JCS0084. The Easter Eggs and Peeps are from Studio G.  Hero Arts Ultra Fine Prisma Glitter was added to the Peeps, Tilda, and the Easter Eggs. The grass was cut using the Grass Border Punch from Martha Stewart. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. And, the ribbon is from my stash.

Thank you stopping by today!! I hope that you will visit the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog to see the gorgeous cards and projects that the other Design Team Members have created!!

Have a wonderful day.   .   . a wonderful week!!

Suzan

It's Not Easy Being A Princess For Just Magnolia and hAnglar and stAnglar Challenge

Happy Spring Everyone!! I hope wherever you are that you are enjoying a nice Spring day!! I live in Southern California, so my daffodils have already come and gone. It's kind of sad, because I love having them in my garden.  They are one of my favorite flowers next to Sweet Peas. It really makes me happy to see them. It's just nice to know though that they will be back again next year to put a big smile on my face.

Today at Just Magnolia and hAnglar and stAnglar Challenge, we are being hosted by the talented Anne. This week's challenge is to use More Than One Fold on a card or project. I hope that you will join in on this fun challenge! Your entry will give you an opportunity to be this week's lucky winner of a wonderful prize from Dies To Die For .

For my More Than One Fold card, I decided to make a Center Step Card. I found the pattern on Teresa's Folded & Fabulous Cards CD from Hot Off The Press. I used We R Memory Keepers Love Struck Design Papers. Sweet Princess Tilda and Prince Phillip (the frog), from Magnolia-licious, were both stamped on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored with Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I think these two images are so cute together! Tilda looks like she thinking, "It's not easy being a princess, especially when you have to kiss a frog." LOL!  Hero Arts Ultra Fine Prisma Glitter was added to Tilda's crown and the heart on the arch. Glossy Accents was added to the frog's crown. The arch was made using Sizzix Frame # 2 - 655028. I just cut off the bottom of the frame. The flowers on the arch are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The grass was cut using the Grass Border from Martha Stewart. The flowers on the grass are from All Natural Accents. The butterflies are stickers from Best Creations.

Thank you for stopping by!!  I always love hearing what you think of my cards!! Your comments are so appreciated!!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Big Hugs,
Suzan
