Sailing By To Say Hi For Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog Color Inspiration Challenge

Hello Everyone! It's that time again for another Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog Color Inspiration Challenge.  I am so happy to be the host for the Month of July! For this challenge, I have chosen this Red, White, and Blue Nautical Picture.

I hope it inspires you to play along with us! All you need to do is to use a Magnolia image on your card or project. Your entry will give you the opportunity to be the lucky winner of a Gift Certificate to Magnolia-licious, the best place to shop for Maggies. Diana has the new Turning Leaves Collection on Pre-Order.   .   . Regular Size and the Minis too! They are all so cute, I especially love Walter the Moose!!

For my card, I used Kika Esteves Nautical Digi Design Paper from MyGrafico and Echo Park Splash Digi Design Papers from Jessica Sprague. Don't you just love the little whales!
Tilda Un-Anchor, from Magnolia-licious, was stamped on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored using Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. The anchor and the buttons on Tilda's shorts were colored using the gold from Niji Pearlescent Watercolor Set from Yasutomo. The doily is from Wilton. The decorative net was bought at Michaels last year. The metal studs in the corners are from the K and Company Flora and Fauna Collection. The sailboat charm is from Blue Moon Bits and Baubles. The crab ribbon is from the dollar section at Target. The scallop border was cut using EK Success Dotted Scallop Slim Edger Punch. The red poppies are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I made the blue flowers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and I hope you take a minute to visit the
Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog and see all the gorgeous cards that the other Design Team Member have created!! I hope they will inspire you to join in on the fun!!

I look forward to seeing all the cards and projects that you create!

Have a wonderful week!

Big Hugs,

Suzan

Oh Suzan, this is a fun card! Love your take on the inspiration pic! The nautical DP in the background, the crab printed ribbon, the little whales on Tilda's matting piece are all so very well coordinated! You have colored beautifully, and I love her outfit with the white blouise, blue shorts, and red polka dot bow and the matching red shoes! The red poppies add a lovely touch to bring out the red, and the sailboat charm and knotted net are the perfect touch! Great card as always!

Hugs,
Cami
