May Your Christmas Be Filled With Warmth and Love

Hello Everyone!! I can't believe how long it has been since my last posting!! I'm so sorry that I have been away for so long!! I hope this finds you all doing well! I've been busy trying to get everything ready for Christmas! I'm so behind this year!!  I was able to make a few cards for some sweet  friends though!

I decided to make a Pocket Card using Lifestyle Crafts Treat Bag Die. For the background and the striped border,  I used Echo Park All I Want For Christmas Digi Design Papers. I stamped Santa's Helper Tilda on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored her using Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I added Hero Arts Ultrafine Prisma Glitter to Tilda's Santa Hat and Wink of Stella to the sleeves of Tilda's dress. I fussy cut Tilda and mounted her to a Christmas Sweets Frame Die Cut that I downloaded for free from Paper Wishes. The little gingerbread man and lady are also from the same download. I added some little peppermint candies that I made from some Perler Beads. I found a tutorial on Youtube that shows how to make them from Craftyirina. I cut the Candy Cane Heart - #52908 using the Silhouette.  The doily was cut using Cheery Lynn Designs French Pastry Tiny Doily Die - DL234. The mini pompom trim and candy striped baker's twine are from my stash. The little red felt heart is from a Christmas Card Making Kit that I found at the 99 cent Store. There were all sorts of little embellishments in the kit.

The saying that I used is from Uptown Rubber Stamps - Holly Pond Hill. Unfortunately the company has gone out of business. The glittered heart is also from the embellishment kit.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

What A Sweetie!

Hi Everyone! I would like to share with you a card that I created using the cute Mini Tilda With Heart! I love the Mini Tildas, but I have to admit that I have to wear two pairs of glasses when I color them in. You are probably thinking, "What?" Well, I place a pair of reading glasses that I found at the drugstore on top of my prescription glasses. It helps magnify the image, so I can color in all the small details. I've tried getting a pair of  drugstore reading glasses with a higher power than my prescription glasses, but they just make me dizzy. LOL! I use the two glasses whenever I have to do any of the detailed work on my cards!

For my card, I used Digital Design Papers from Sara Schmutz - Strawberry Patch Collection. The polka dotted frame and "what a Sweetie" with the strawberries tag is from the same collection. I mounted them both on solid papers from the collection and fussy cut around them to help them stand out more. Tilda With Heart was stamped on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored with alcohol markers and Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. For the flourish die cut, I used  Bosskut - Leaf  Flourish #0728. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, Prima and All Natural Accents. The large rose from my stash started out white, but I dyed it using water based markers and some Tattered Angels Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist that I mixed on a craft mat and rolled the rose in it. And, I made the felt bow using Savvy Dies -  Bow Set #10088 .

I had fun making some bows from felt that I found at Daiso! They were really easy to make. I used Fabri-Tac to glue them together.

Well, thank you for stopping by blog today! I hope I have inspired you to get out your Mini Magnolias and play with them!

Have a wonderful summer day!

Arigato!

Hi Everyone! Not too long ago, I was so lucky to win a Sister Stamps image and some beautiful embellishments from Linda - Lfundoo on Youtube and Jenny, the owner of Sister Stamps. I wanted to thank them both for their kindness with a card using the very cute Kiyomi image from Sister Stamps.

For the purple and blue easel card, I used Nitwit Collections - Promises Digital Design Papers. The Kiyomi image was stamped on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored using Alcohol Markers and Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I filled in the hair with fine lines using a Copic  Multi Liner 0.3 and then colored on top of the lines. I added Hero Arts Prisma Glitter to the butterfly wings. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, Prima and All Natural Accents. I also added some pearls from a spray I found at Hobby Lobby. The "Arigato" is a stamp that I purchased many years ago and I'm not sure who made it. The scalloped circles were cut using Spellbinders Nestibilities -  Petite Scalloped Circles Dies and the matching Circles Dies.

For the pink and blue easel card, I used Designs by Angie - Isabel Collection Digital Design Papers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I always love hearing from you and appreciate the comments that you leave for me!

Have a wonderful day!

Celebrating the Red, White and Blue

Hi Everyone! I'm back to share a card that I created for The Greeting Farm Stamps - Color With Pencils Challenge.  I love coloring with Prismacolor Pencils, so I decided to make a 4th of July card. I can't believe that the first day of summer is this Saturday and the 4th is only a couple of weeks away!

For my card, I used Echo Park - 4th of July Digital Papers and Elements. I stamped the very sweet "Summer" from The Greeting Farm - Roll Call Wild Sprouts Collection 1 on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored her with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I added a small star to her shirt to make it look more patriotic! The die cut behind her and the banner are from the Digital Elements. The flowers are from Prima, All Natural Accents and Michael's. I added Clear Wink of Stella to the flowers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

I hope you all have a wonderful summer!

Thinking About You

Hi Everyone! I'm back to share a little something that I created using a Notecard from the Prima Sweet Fairy Collection.  I love the colors of the notecard that I chose, but it had a design on the corners that I didn't care for, so I decided to add Longing Tilda from the Fairy Tale Collection and some flowers to cover most of it up! You can see a little butterfly that is to the right of Tilda that is a part of the design that I left showing. I matched Tilda's dress and bow to it.

I stamped the sweet Tilda on Cryogen White Card Stock and I colored her using Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, Prima, All Natural Accents, and my stash! For the pearl accents, I cut a tulle and pearl embellishment from Hobby Lobby apart and added the pieces to the floral arrangement. I die cut the butterflies with the Martha Stewart 3 in 1 Butterfly Punch and colored them with the same Alcohol Marker that I used to color Tilda's dress and added some pearls from Recollections. The saying is a stamp from Inkadinkado. I added a piece of ribbon for a little hanger.

I want to try to use some of the older Tilda images that I have in my stash that haven't been inked yet! I had to really search to find the name of the Tilda that I used. Oh My Goodness! I can't believe that she is from 2010! One stamp down and I don't know how many more to go! Hehehe!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

Sew Sweet

Hi Everyone! I hope you all are enjoying spring, at least what we have had of it. It seems like everywhere the weather has been so crazy! Here in Southern California, we have been having some unusually hot weather for this time of year. Last week it got up to 100 degrees!  That's too hot for me, especially since my house doesn't have air conditioning. I hope the summer doesn't bring more hot days like that! Even though it was too hot to do much of anything, I was able to do a little crafting!

For my card, I used the Penelope Paper Pack from Hot Off The Press along with the matching die cuts that I was able to download for free at Paper Wishes. I stamped the very cute Tilda Makes A Blueberry Blanket on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored her using Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I paper pieced Tilda's dress, socks and blanket from the die cuts. The patterns on the die cuts are much smaller than the design papers, so they were just perfect. I also stamped the Tilda image on the die cut frame that I used. I fussy cut out the image that I stamped on the Cryogen White Card Stock and placed it on top of this image. This way I didn't have to worry about cutting out the tiny needle and thread. The lace that I used is from Michael's. The flowers are from Recollections, Prima and All Natural Accents. I added pearl stamens that I found at Joann's in the cake decorating department to the teal Prima flowers . The "Sew Sweet" is from the Sew Cute Small Stamp Set from Paper Wishes.

For the jar, I used the Sizzix Candy Jars ScoreBoards XL Die. I cut it out of the Sizzix Little Sizzles White Mat Board. I paper pieced the Penelope Design Papers on the outside and the inside. I added some stitched ribbon from my stash along with some the same flowers that I used for the card. I think this jar is so cute and it was very easy to put together.

Well, thank you for stopping by my blog today! I really appreciate all the sweet comments that you leave for me!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Easter Tags

Hi Everyone! I was so excited to find out that the card that I made for St. Patrick's Day, Lucky Me - from my last posting, won the 2 Cute Ink Digital Stamps St. Patrick's Day Challenge. I won three digital images from their Esty Shop, so I picked out the Easter Bunny Chick, Bunny Easter Egg and Cupcake Frog images. Thank you 2 Cute Ink Digital Stamps for the very cute images! I used two of the images to make the Easter Tags.

For the tags, I used digital design papers from Nitwit - Egg-stra Special Collection. Behind the bunny and chick digital images that I colored with alcohol markers, I used some Easter egg stickers that I found at the Dollar Store. I cut off the white border that was around them leaving the very bottom, so the two layers of the sticker, clear embossed acetate and colored image, would stay together. I added a grass border that was cut using the Martha Stewart Grass Border Punch. The mini daisies are from All Natural Accents. The two sayings are from Darcie's. I added a little bit of tulle to the top of each of them and then tied a bow with baker's twine.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I hope this inspires you to make some Easter tags for your Easter goodies!

Lucky Me!

Hi Everyone!  I hope this finds you all doing well! Here in California, there are signs that spring is here. The daffodils in my garden have bloomed and a dove has built a nest under my patio cover on two of the beams. This past Saturday, a baby dove arrived! It is so cute!

Can you believe that it is already March and St. Patrick's Day is next week!   I decided to make a card for   St. Patrick's Day using The Greeting Farm Digi Image - Good Luck Anya. I printed the cute image on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored it with Alcohol Markers. I paper pieced Anya's hat and outfit using Nitwit Collections - Bit O' Blarney Digital Design Papers. I also used the same design papers for the background of the card. I added one of my handmade flowers that I created using some lace that I found at Joann's. I also added some doilies and a Bazzill Timeless Button for the center. The "lucky me" is a stamp from Studio G. The ribbon and lace are from my stash.

I also crocheted some 4 leaf clovers using a tutorial I found here. I dyed them using green food coloring.        I added a rhinestone that I found at Michael's to each of the centers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog! Lucky me to have such wonderful followers like you!

I hope you all have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day! I'm going to try to make a Grasshopper Pie for my hubby on St. Patrick's Day! Chocolate and mint! Yummy!

Just For You

Hello Everyone! I would like to share with you a Pocket Tag Card that I created!  I was inspired by Bona - LiveLoveScrap on Youtube.  For the Pocket Card, I used some design paper from The Paper Studio - Tiny Pink Hearts that I found at Hobby Lobby. I backed it with some Georgia-Pacific White Card Stock to give it some strength. I added some white crocheted lace to the edge of the pocket that  I found at Hobby Lobby.  I also added a doily that I die cut  and embossed using Cheery Lynn Designs - DL 234 French Pastry Tiny Doily. I had a "Aha Moment" while cutting the doily out. LOL! Instead of using white card stock like I normally do, I cut it out of white printer paper, so it came out looking just like a store bought doily, but better, especially after I embossed it.  The heart ribbon is from Michael's. The tulle is from my stash.

The flower is handmade. I used some lace and tulle that I found at Joann's. I made the crocheted doily and the pearl flower center. I used $1 strands of glass pearls from Darice that I found at Michael's to make the pearl flower center. I threaded 9 - 4mm pearls onto a 32 gauge wire and then twisted the two wires together to form a circle. Then, I took one of the wires and threaded a 8mm pearl for the center. I brought the wire with the 8mm pearl to the back, going down on outer side of the pearl circle on the opposite side of where the wire originated from. The pearl center is held securely into place after I twisted the two wires again in the back.  I think they are the perfect size for handmade flowers and very easy to make.

Here is a card of pearl centers that I made to give to some of my friends this Valentine's Day!

For the tag that fits in the pocket,  I used a sweet little girl from Hero Arts -  CL381 Sweet Wonderful You Clear Stamp Set. I stamped her on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored her with Alcohol Markers, and Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. The "Just For You" is from Stampin' Up - Label Love Stamp Set.  I added the other half of the doily with a rhinestone heart that I found in my stash.

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I always love hearing from you and appreciate all your comments!

Have a wonderful day!!

Valentine's Day Wishes For You!

Hello Everyone! Sorry it has been so long since I have posted a card or project on my blog. As some of you already know, my sweet little dog, Woody, passed away on December 22nd, after being very sick for over 2 weeks. The vet just couldn't find out what was wrong with him. The vet even contacted several of the top vet schools to see if any of the experts there knew what was going on with my little guy! My hubby and I rescued Woody 8 years ago and he blessed our lives with his unconditional love every day of that 8 years. We took Woody everywhere with us and people would always say that Woody was the happiest dog they had ever seen. I can't tell you how much my heart is broken and how much Woody is missed!  My hubby and I loved Woody so much!

Speaking of love, Valentine's Day is almost here, so I decided to make a heart box with some design papers from TPC Studio - Little Lovin' Collection. The heart box pattern is from Paper Wishes - Teresa's Fantastic Folded Cards and Boxes CD. The sweet image that I used is from C.C. Designs - Swiss Pixie Love Letter Lucy.  I used the digi version, which was printed on Georgia-Pacific White Card Stock that I found at Walmart.  I colored her with Alcohol Markers, and Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.  I used a Clear Wink of Stella Pen to add a little sparkle to her dress. The flowers that I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The little berries and the heart ribbon are from Michael's. The doily that I used is from Wilton.

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day filled with lots of love!
