What A Sweetie!

Hi Everyone! I would like to share with you a card that I created using the cute Mini Tilda With Heart! I love the Mini Tildas, but I have to admit that I have to wear two pairs of glasses when I color them in. You are probably thinking, "What?" Well, I place a pair of reading glasses that I found at the drugstore on top of my prescription glasses. It helps magnify the image, so I can color in all the small details. I've tried getting a pair of  drugstore reading glasses with a higher power than my prescription glasses, but they just make me dizzy. LOL! I use the two glasses whenever I have to do any of the detailed work on my cards!

For my card, I used Digital Design Papers from Sara Schmutz - Strawberry Patch Collection. The polka dotted frame and "what a Sweetie" with the strawberries tag is from the same collection. I mounted them both on solid papers from the collection and fussy cut around them to help them stand out more. Tilda With Heart was stamped on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored with alcohol markers and Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. For the flourish die cut, I used  Bosskut - Leaf  Flourish #0728. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, Prima and All Natural Accents. The large rose from my stash started out white, but I dyed it using water based markers and some Tattered Angels Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist that I mixed on a craft mat and rolled the rose in it. And, I made the felt bow using Savvy Dies -  Bow Set #10088 .

I had fun making some bows from felt that I found at Daiso! They were really easy to make. I used Fabri-Tac to glue them together.

Well, thank you for stopping by blog today! I hope I have inspired you to get out your Mini Magnolias and play with them!

Have a wonderful summer day!

Big Hugs,

Suzan

Hi Suzan, I adore your Tilda, she is such a sweetie. I agree with you the detail work is hard on our geriatric eyes, lol. Your card is beautifully embellished. I love the bow and the hand dyed rose, they are so pretty and matching the paper very well.
Have a lovely day and happy crafting!
Hugs, Katie

Hi Susan! I love this card. The digital paper you used is adorable and I love the colors. I know what you mean about the glasses. I can't color at all if I don't put on my reading glasses. Thanks for sharing the Silhouette information with me. I am going to look for those cuts. Have a blessed day! Alease

I agree, it's a sweetie! Lovely pink colors too. I recognize your 'problems' with your glasses. Unfortunately I cannot do any longer without reading glasses.
Here the weather is also really good: great late summer!
Enjoy!!!
