Hello Everyone! It's that time again for another Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog Color Inspiration
Challenge. The two challenges for this month are being hosted by the talented Jane. For the color challenge, Jane has chosen this wonderful photo.
Pink, Blue and White
I hope it inspires
you to play along with us! All you need to do is to use a MAGNOLIA IMAGE and the colors PINK, BLUE and WHITE on your
card or project. Your entry will give you the opportunity to be the lucky winner
of a Gift Certificate to Magnolia-licious, the best place to shop for
Maggies. Diana has the cute new Australia Collection on Pre-Order with a 18% discount off her everyday low price. There is a limited quantity, so if you would like a set, make sure you use the link and order one today!
For my card, I used Pinecone Press Blue Bell and Party Games Design Papers. I printed the quilt using DJ Inker's Ultimate Doodle Collection Quilt Block 3 onto the two different design papers and cut out the pieces to make the quilt. Tailor Tilda, from Magnolia-licious, was stamped on Cryogen White Card Stock and colored using Alcohol Markers,
Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. The pin cushion is from DJ Inker's Scraps and Stitches Digi CD.
For the scallop border around the quilt, I used EK Success Dotted Scallop Slim Edger Punch. For the doily, I used Cheery Lynn Designs DL102 French Pastry Doily Die. The pink roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the blue rose is from my stash. The scissor button is from Dress It Up - All Sewn Up Collection that I found at Michaels. The little white buttons I found at Joann Fabric and Craft. And, the heart pins are from Heidi Grace Designs.
Thank You Sew Much for
stopping by my blog and I hope you take a minute to visit the
Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog and see all
the gorgeous cards that my talented teammates have created!! I hope they
will inspire you to join in on the fun!!
I also want to thank all of you who left birthday wishes for me! You really made my birthday a special one!
Have a wonderful week!
Big Hugs,
Suzan
