Hello Everyone!! It's the 2nd Tuesday in March, so it's time for the Color Inspiration Challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog!! I'm so excited to share my very first Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog Design Team Card with you!! This fun challenge is being hosted by the very talented Angela who has chosen this wonderful photo to inspire us all.
All you need to do is use the colors in the inspiration photo along with a Magnolia Image on a card or project. For my card, I used Spring Celebration Digi Design Papers from Design House Digital. I created a little scene with Water Can Tilda from Magnolia-licious. The Love Stack, Heart Blossoms and Flower Pot are from Stampourri. They were colored using Alcohol Markers, Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I paper pieced Tilda's dress and shoes along with the flower pot and watering can with the Digi Design Papers. I added the clouds using a cloud template, chalk ink and a rounded sponge wedge. And, I added a little Flowersoft to the edge of the flower pot. The scalloped border was cut with the Cricut Elegant Edges Cartridge <scallop2> + <Sclop2-s>. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, Recollections and my stash. The ribbon is also from my stash.
